Nicki Bove: Born and raised between the suburbs of Philadelphia and Delaware, Nicki has been singing most of her life. Her family’s first memory came at the age of 2 when Nicki started to sing an Old Italian classic, Frank Sinatra’s version of “Love and Marriage” into a plastic microphone! Nicki studied Classical vocal training since the age of 9 with 5 of those years including intense Classical competition and Opera’s. She also studied theatre, film and comedic acting at UCLA and enjoyed many years onstage performing at the Delaware Children’s Theatre. School musicals were a huge part of her early career. Nicki landed roles such as Nancy in Oliver, Zeitel in Fiddler on the Roof and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady. For two years, Nicki attended The Cab Calloway School for Performing Arts after competing with over 400 students for one of the few available spots. Several years Nicki successfully auditioned and was a member of the highly coveted Delaware State Choir. In addition to her voice training she has also studied piano and guitar. A dream that began for Nicki at the age of 8 was to attend Berklee College of Music. Nicki was granted a vocal scholarship to Berklee and has maintained at GPA average of 3.0 throughout her studies. Her anticipated graduation is May 2010. While attending college Nicki Bove formed a band and grew to have large crowd appeal. The Nicki Bove Band has opened up for Girl Talk at Fairfield University for 3000+ college students, Jeffrey Gaines in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and some of New England’s hot spots such as the House of Blues. In August of 2008, Nicki put together her first demo with a collection of 9 recordings in an effort to further pursue her music career. Nicki is currently living in LA in hope of furthering her musical career and continuing in the pursuit of her life long dream to sing everyday!
