Originally from Northern California, Jordan Pharoah started singing at the age of three matching the notes of his grandmother while she sang to artist like, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Donny Hathaway and more as she cooked. Raised by his grandparents, they exposed him to many different genres of music at an early age from Blues and Jazz to R&B/Soul, Gospel and more. In 2007, at the age of 15, Jordan moved to Los Angeles to become a vocal student at ("LACHSA") the Los Angeles County High School For Performing Arts. In 2009, with the help of friends from The University of Southern California, Jordan assembled a twelve-piece soul band that performed original songs and covers at various venues on the USC campus and around the Los Angeles area. Influenced by greats like, Marvin Gaye, John Legend, The Temptations, Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, Otis Redding, and more this young power house singer can croon and roar like the Motown legends he idols.
Fresh out of Berklee College of Music, Jenny Swope has returned home to LA with an arsenal of piano-driven pop, blues and soul. She recently released a duel EP - "Barefoot Town" & "Silver Medal Love". The first is a penetrating examination of mid-twenties malaise, while the latter uses folk stylings to tackle unrequited love. Together the collection elegantly weaves Jenny's ethereal vocal style with provocative lyrics and mellifluous harmonies. Jenny is thrilled to be back and is inspired by her ever-growing love of music.
